Private board membership disclosure via unchecked user ID
Published Sep 16, 2026 · Updated Sep 16, 2026
Authorization bypass in FluentBoards before 2.0.15 allows remote authenticated users to disclose arbitrary users’ private board memberships. The board-membership listing path accepts a referenced user ID and returns that user’s board list without confirming that the requester may view it. Any WordPress account, including a Subscriber with no board access, can enumerate membership metadata; board contents are not reported as exposed.
