SSRF via prefix-based proxy activation
Published Oct 19, 2026 · Updated Oct 19, 2026
SSRF in Apache Camel Platform HTTP allows remote attackers to relay requests through endpoints unintentionally placed in proxy mode. PlatformHttpEndpoint.isHttpProxy() accepts configured paths beginning with proxy instead of requiring an exact match, turning those endpoints into catch-all consumers. Exploitation requires an exposed affected route and a forwarding producer; the Vert.x consumer derives the destination from the caller's Host header, exposing services reachable through that forwarding path.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=4.0.0 <4.18.5
