Response disclosure via credentialed allow-all CORS defaults
Published Oct 19, 2026 · Updated Oct 19, 2026
CORS misconfiguration in Apache Camel's Jetty component allows remote attackers to read endpoint responses through malicious web pages. Enabling enableCORS installs CrossOriginFilter without restrictive initialization parameters, reflecting arbitrary request origins while permitting credentials. Exposure requires this non-default option and a victim visiting an attacker-controlled page whose browser sends endpoint credentials; the documented consequence is disclosure of response data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=4.0.0 <4.18.5
