Saga hijacking via unfiltered coordinator header
Published Oct 19, 2026 · Updated Oct 19, 2026
Header injection in Apache Camel Core allows remote attackers to hijack saga participation through inbound message headers. SagaProcessor.getCurrentSagaCoordinator() trusts the unfiltered Long-Running-Action header to select another action, misassociating requests or compensation. Exposure requires an inbound path into a saga route; although the advisory limits exposure to LRA coordinators, upstream patch documentation explicitly identifies non-LRA services as affected.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
