Heap buffer overflow in WebML in Google Chrome before 148.0.7778.168 on Windows allows remote attackers to corrupt heap memory via crafted HTML. Chrome has not disclosed the WebML code path or the unchecked memory operation that writes beyond the heap buffer because the issue details remain restricted. Exploitation requires a user to open the crafted page; successful corruption can compromise browser confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
