Traffic disclosure via implicit trust-all TLS fallback
Published Oct 19, 2026 · Updated Oct 19, 2026
Certificate validation failure in Apache Camel's Knative HTTP client allows man-in-the-middle attackers to read encrypted traffic. KnativeSslClientOptions.configureOptions() installs TrustAllOptions.INSTANCE instead of using JVM trust anchors when SSL is enabled without a truststore or trusted certificate path. Exploitation requires interception of the affected connection; the documented consequence is disclosure of its traffic.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

CVSS describes severity. EPSS estimates exploitation probability.
Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
Activity data is delayed. The latest report is Sep 28, 2026.
