Cross-exchange data disclosure via shared Thrift deserialization target
Published Oct 19, 2026 · Updated Oct 19, 2026
Data disclosure in Apache Camel's Thrift data format allows remote attackers to read other senders' data via shared message state. ThriftDataFormat.unmarshal deserializes incoming payloads into the shared defaultInstance and returns that object, leaving omitted fields populated with earlier messages' values. Disclosure requires different users or tenants to share the same route and target type, with retained fields or concurrent partial writes exposed through subsequent processing.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=4.0.0 <4.18.5
