Administrator-session script execution via rich-text submission link
Published Oct 1, 2026 · Updated Oct 1, 2026
Stored XSS in WPMU DEV Forminator Forms 1.57.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to run script in an administrator session via form submissions. The Rich-Text Textarea submission reaches the Entries view without sufficient sanitization or escaping, and the WordPress contextual-help click handler interprets its entity-decoded link as HTML. An administrator must open the stored entry and click the planted link; the script then runs in that administrator's authenticated wp-admin browser session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
