CVE-2026-85223Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated command injection via Dropbox CGI parameters

Published Sep 3, 2026 · Updated Sep 4, 2026

OS command injection in D-Link DNS-340L 1.01B04 allows remote authenticated users to execute shell commands through Dropbox CGI requests. The dropbox.cgi handler concatenates callback_url and sync_interval POST values into dropnasctl command strings executed by /bin/sh -c without neutralizing shell metacharacters. Authenticated web-management access is required; successful exploitation runs arbitrary commands with the CGI process user's privileges and can alter files or interrupt NAS services.
