Improper TLS certificate validation in MISP 2.5.45 and earlier allows man-in-the-middle attackers to read or alter HTTPS traffic. CurlClient leaves $verifyPeer uninitialized, passes its null value to cURL, and thereby disables peer verification unless a caller opts in. Network-path position is required; exploitation exposes authentication material or threat intelligence and permits response modification.
