Authenticated profile overwrite via unchecked record ID
Published Sep 3, 2026 · Updated Sep 3, 2026
Missing authorization in lenve vhr allows remote authenticated users to overwrite arbitrary HR profiles through PUT /hr/info. The endpoint binds the request body to an Hr object and passes its attacker-controlled id to updateByPrimaryKeySelective, which updates that database row without checking it against the authenticated principal. Any signed-in account that can call the endpoint can alter another user's name or address and disable accounts, including administrators, interrupting access.
