Privileged stored XSS via unescaped class option
Published Sep 14, 2026 · Updated Sep 14, 2026
Stored XSS in Regular Labs Quick Index 5.0.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript via class options. Quick Index inserts the configurable class value into generated HTML without escaping it for an attribute, so crafted input closes the class attribute and adds an executable attribute. The attacker needs content-editing privileges, and a visitor must view the rendered index for the script to run in that visitor's browser.
