Sandboxed code execution via Blink use-after-free
Published May 14, 2026 · Updated May 14, 2026
Use after free in Blink in Google Chrome before 148.0.7778.168 allows remote attackers to execute code in its sandbox via crafted HTML. Google has not published the affected Blink object or the lifetime sequence that causes code to access it after its memory is freed. Exploitation requires a user to open attacker-controlled content, and the documented result remains inside the browser sandbox rather than escaping it.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
