TLS private key disclosure via incomplete path blocklist
Published Sep 3, 2026 · Updated Sep 3, 2026
Information disclosure in SiYuan 3.8.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to retrieve TLS and CA private keys via getFile. IsForbiddenAbsPath in kernel/util/path_guard.go blocks only conf/conf.json, while the getFile handler bypasses that check for the administrator role assigned to authenticated users. Default instances require no auth code; on TLS-enabled deployments, the exposed keys permit captured-traffic decryption and certificate forgery for clients trusting the SiYuan CA.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
