CVE-2026-85173Network attack vectorHinoki check available

Cross-project workflow disclosure via unchecked projectId

Published Sep 3, 2026 · Updated Sep 3, 2026

Authorization bypass in n8n before 2.36.2 allows remote authenticated users to read workflow names and execution statistics across projects. The Insights API checks only an instance-level Insights scope and passes the client-supplied projectId to its repository without verifying project membership. A restricted custom role with Insights view scopes is sufficient; the response exposes project and workflow metadata but not credentials or execution content.
