Internal network access via unchecked EPG URL
Published Sep 3, 2026 · Updated Sep 3, 2026
SSRF in the EPG parser in WWBN AVideo through commit c91b5975d allows remote authenticated users to reach internal URLs via epg_link. The upload path validates epg_link only as a syntactically valid URL, then EPG generation fetches it server-side without private-address checks. An authenticated account able to upload video content is required, and the requests can reach loopback, private-network, or metadata services.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
