Reflected XSS via unescaped embed-link comment
Published Sep 3, 2026 · Updated Sep 3, 2026
Reflected XSS in WWBN AVideo through commit c91b5975d allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through a crafted embed URL. videoEmbeded.php inserts the link parameter into an HTML comment without escaping, so a --> sequence closes the comment and introduces script markup. Exploitation is unauthenticated but requires a victim to open the crafted URL, exposing data and actions available to that browser session.
