Unauthenticated secret inference via unchecked sort column
Published Sep 3, 2026 · Updated Sep 3, 2026
SQL injection in WWBN AVideo 29.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to infer password hashes and recovery tokens via a public API. BootGrid::getSqlFromPost() strips punctuation from the attacker-controlled sort key but still appends any permitted identifier directly to ORDER BY. No authentication or cookies are required; the channel query joins users with no key prefix, making secret columns sortable and returning full SQL and driver errors for invalid names.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
