Unauthenticated SQL injection via decoded XML entities
Published Sep 3, 2026 · Updated Sep 3, 2026
SQL injection in the SeaCMS WeChat Module 13.0 through 13.6 allows remote attackers to control database queries via crafted XML. In weixin/index.php, addslashes processes the raw body before simplexml_load_string decodes character entities, after which Content is concatenated into a LIKE query. Exploitation requires the non-default WeChat module to be enabled and permits unauthenticated query-condition manipulation that can disclose database-backed video records.
