Arbitrary post deletion via unprotected bulk actions
Published Sep 16, 2026 · Updated Sep 16, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in WPLP Cookie Consent before 4.4.4 allows remote attackers to make an administrator delete arbitrary posts. The administration bulk-action handler neither validates a CSRF nonce nor checks capabilities, and it accepts post or page identifiers outside the plugin's own records. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to submit the crafted request; the selected posts and pages are then permanently deleted.
