Renderer sandbox escape via Input use-after-free
Published May 14, 2026 · Updated May 14, 2026
Use after free in the Input component in Google Chrome on Android before 148.0.7778.168 allows remote attackers to escape the sandbox. The Input component reuses memory after it has been freed; restricted bug details leave the affected object and lifetime error undisclosed. Exploitation requires a compromised renderer, a crafted HTML page, and user interaction, and the reported consequence is escape from Chrome's sandbox.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
