Unauthenticated code execution via untrusted VPN certificates
Published Sep 9, 2026 · Updated Sep 10, 2026
Improper certificate validation in Check Point Quantum Security Gateway allows remote attackers to execute code during VPN negotiation. The gateway incorrectly trusts attacker-controlled certificate data presented to its Remote Access or Site-to-Site VPN negotiation path; Check Point has not disclosed the specific validation branch or parsing operation. Remote Access or Site-to-Site VPN must be in use, and successful exploitation runs arbitrary code on the gateway.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
