Denial of service via uncanceled streaming accumulation
Published Sep 3, 2026 · Updated Sep 3, 2026
Resource exhaustion in 2FastLabs Agent Squad 1.1.0 through 1.1.4 allows remote authenticated users to crash streaming applications. AgentSquad.routeRequest drains the provider stream and appends every chunk to an unbounded in-memory string after the client disconnects. Reachability requires an endpoint using the TypeScript streaming workflow and a prompt or task that elicits a long response; memory exhaustion can terminate the process or container.
