CVE-2026-85083

Full device compromise via hard-coded bootloader credential

Published Sep 11, 2026 · Updated Sep 11, 2026

Hard-coded credentials in the bootloader of CareCam Pro IP Cameras allow physically proximate attackers to gain privileged bootloader access. The bootloader accepts an embedded credential instead of a device-specific secret, granting privileged control before the operating system starts. Physical possession is required; successful access permits unauthorized firmware and system-configuration changes that can compromise the entire camera.
