CVE-2026-85008Network attack vectorHinoki check available

Request suppression via unsafe-method response caching

Published Sep 4, 2026 · Updated Sep 4, 2026

Improper response caching in Undici 7.0.0 through 7.29.0 and 8.0.0 through 8.10.1 allows remote attackers to suppress unsafe requests. The cache interceptor's skip-list excludes configured safe methods rather than unsafe methods, while canCacheResponse stores unsafe-method responses without checking the method. A remote origin can return cacheable headers once, causing later POST, PUT, PATCH, or DELETE requests to be replayed from cache instead of reaching that origin under the default configuration.
