Memory disclosure via nested BSON field-path overread

Out-of-bounds read in affected MongoDB PHP Driver releases allows remote attackers to disclose adjacent memory via crafted BSON. During BSON decoding, corrupt nested data makes field-path error construction read past a heap buffer and copy a small amount of adjacent memory into an exception message returned to application code. Disclosure reaches an attacker only when an application accepts the crafted BSON and exposes the resulting error message.
