Link redirection via clobbered currentScript reference
Published May 19, 2026 · Updated May 19, 2026
DOM clobbering in Drupal Translate Drupal with GTranslate before 3.0.5 allows remote authenticated users to redirect language links. The widget JavaScript trusts document.currentScript without confirming that it is the executing script element, so crafted HTML can substitute an unintended domain. Exploitation requires permission to add HTML attributes blocked by default CKEditor settings, a paid widget, and a configuration that builds links from script-provided values.
