Contributor-level stored XSS via unescaped display style
Published Sep 5, 2026 · Updated Sep 6, 2026
Stored XSS in King Addons for Elementor before 51.1.77 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in page visitors' browsers. The Magazine Grid widget inserts its display-style setting into an HTML attribute without output escaping, so a crafted value remains stored with the page and becomes executable markup when rendered. Contributor-level access or higher is required to save the setting; viewing the affected page triggers the script, including in an administrator's authenticated browser.
