Authenticated worker crash via unbounded code output

Published Sep 2, 2026 · Updated Sep 3, 2026

Denial of service in Simular Agent S 0.3.1 and 0.3.2 allows remote authenticated users to crash its worker via crafted code output. CodeAgent's code_agent.py captures generated Python program output without enforcing a size limit, so excessive output exhausts worker memory. Low-privileged access to the code-execution workflow is required, and the demonstrated consequence is loss of the affected worker process.
