CVE-2026-84869Network attack vector

Guest-to-Host execution via unchecked file-transfer actions

Published Sep 8, 2026 · Updated Sep 9, 2026

Missing authorization in ConnectWise ScreenConnect before 26.6.5 allows remote authenticated users to execute transferred files on a Host. The client accepts file-transfer and file-execution actions from the active session without enforcing the required authorization or Host confirmation. An authenticated participant with an active Support or Access session can place and run files on the Host, while ScreenConnect servers are not affected.
