Unauthenticated browser script execution via unsanitized block colors
Published Sep 10, 2026 · Updated Sep 10, 2026
Cross-site scripting in Greg Winiarski WPAdverts 2.3.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute browser script via block color values. The block color path accepted custom HEX values without sanitizing them before incorporating them into rendered block output. No authentication is required; published material does not identify the exposed request parameter, persistence behavior, or required victim interaction.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
