Malicious code execution via excluded Python bytecode
Published Sep 2, 2026 · Updated Sep 2, 2026
Analysis bypass in Tencent AI-Infra-Guard and aig-skill-scan allows remote attackers to hide executable Python bytecode from audits. The dir_tree, _build_repo_tree, and pre_scan surfaces skip pycache directories and .pyc, .pyo, and .pyd files, leaving the auditing model blind to runtime-reachable code. Exploitation requires an operator to scan and then install an attacker-supplied skill; Python imports the hidden bytecode and executes its payload.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
