Audit notification bypass via crafted retrieval request
Published May 22, 2026 · Updated May 22, 2026
Improper workflow enforcement in Devolutions Server allows remote authenticated users to retrieve sealed-entry data without audit notice. The sensitive-data retrieval API returns a sealed entry's protected value for a crafted request without invoking the workflow that records the unseal event and notifies administrators. The user must already be authenticated and authorized for the sealed entry; affected releases are 2026.1.6.0 through 2026.1.16.0 and 2025.3.20.0 and earlier, and the bounded impact is loss of audit visibility rather than broader entry access.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
