Unauthenticated unpublished record disclosure via omitted status check
Published Sep 23, 2026 · Updated Sep 23, 2026
Information disclosure in The Events Calendar before 6.17.5 allows remote attackers to read unpublished venue and organizer records. The public REST API response builder embeds stored details for linked venue and organizer posts without checking each post's publication status. No authentication is required, but disclosure depends on a public response referencing a linked record that remains unpublished.
