Credential interception via disabled TLS verification
Published Sep 3, 2026 · Updated Sep 3, 2026
Improper certificate validation in Eclipse aeriOS Federator development builds allows attackers to intercept outbound HTTPS traffic. When TLS_CERTIFICATE_VALIDATION is unset or false, the Federator configures its HTTP transport to skip server-certificate verification. Man-in-the-middle attackers on the outbound network path can impersonate external services and read OAuth client credentials and bearer tokens.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
