Template enumeration via unsigned webhook response oracle
Published Sep 23, 2026 · Updated Sep 23, 2026
Information disclosure in Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform automation controller allows remote attackers to enumerate webhook-enabled templates. The Bitbucket Data Center receiver looks up the requested job or workflow template before bypassing HMAC verification for diagnostics:ping and returns HTTP 200 for a configured webhook but HTTP 403 otherwise. No authentication or webhook key is required; repeated ID probes disclose which templates have Bitbucket Data Center webhooks configured, without launching jobs or exposing webhook secrets.
