Unauthenticated topology disclosure via over-serialized ping response
Published Sep 23, 2026 · Updated Sep 23, 2026
Information disclosure in Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform allows remote attackers to map automation-mesh topology via an unauthenticated API. ApiV2PingView permits anonymous access and serializes RBAC-gated instance inventories, group membership, install UUID, control-node identity, and versions into /api/v2/ping/. Network access to that endpoint is sufficient; the response exposes control-plane structure but not secrets, credentials, or tenant data.
