Unauthenticated arbitrary file write via job identifier
Published Sep 2, 2026 · Updated Sep 2, 2026
Path traversal in FaceFusion 3.6.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to write JSON files outside the jobs directory through its HTTP API. get_job_file_name appends .json to an unnormalized job identifier, and suggest_job_path joins the result beneath the jobs path before write_json opens it. The default Gradio interface requires no authentication or user interaction, and exploitation alters JSON data writable by the FaceFusion process.
