Authenticated host command execution via unescaped variable keys
Published Sep 2, 2026 · Updated Sep 2, 2026
OS command injection in coolLabs Coolify before 4.2.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands on managed server hosts. Coolify inserts unescaped environment-variable key names into Docker command strings sent through SSH, so shell metacharacters alter the host command. Any authenticated user allowed to manage an application's environment can reach the path and execute commands outside its container.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
