Agent command execution via unescaped environment variables
Published Sep 2, 2026 · Updated Sep 2, 2026
OS command injection in Jenkins TICS Plugin 2025.1.1 and earlier allows attackers to execute arbitrary commands on build agents. The Run TICS build step inserts attacker-controlled build environment variable values into its operating-system command without correctly escaping shell-significant characters. The attacker must control environment-variable values consumed by a TICS build; commands run with the build agent process's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
