Remote code execution via unvalidated upload path
Published Sep 2, 2026 · Updated Sep 2, 2026
Path traversal in Jenkins File Parameter Plugin 425.v3fa_801681b_5e and earlier allows attackers to write arbitrary controller files. A Stapler-bound constructor uses the submitted parameter name as an upload path without applying the plugin's file-name validation. Attackers must be able to submit the affected forms; placement in a location later loaded by Jenkins results in remote code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
