CVE-2026-84667Network attack vectorHinoki check available

Controller file inclusion via configuration data binding

Published Sep 2, 2026 · Updated Sep 2, 2026

Improper access control in Jenkins ThinBackup Plugin 2.1.4 and earlier allows attackers to redirect backup writes and include controller files. Stapler invokes the global configuration constructor because it carries DataBoundConstructor, then binds submitted values through backup-setting DataBoundSetter methods. Attackers must be able to submit the affected forms; exploitation can relocate backup output and copy arbitrary controller files into a backup.
