SSRF via Stapler-bound global connection overwrite
Published Sep 2, 2026 · Updated Sep 2, 2026
SSRF in Jenkins Project GitLab Plugin 1.9.16 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to send API requests to attacker-chosen URLs. A DataBoundConstructor exposes DataBoundSetter methods to Stapler form binding, which overwrites the global GitLab connection configuration with untrusted values. A user able to submit the affected forms can redirect connections and expose administrator-configured GitLab API tokens to an attacker-controlled endpoint.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
