Process termination via WebKit state-management error
Published Sep 14, 2026 · Updated Sep 14, 2026
Logic error in WebKit in Apple Safari and platform releases before 27 allows remote attackers to terminate a process via crafted web content. WebKit mishandles internal state while processing attacker-controlled content, although Apple has not disclosed the responsible function or state transition. Reachability requires the affected WebKit engine to process hostile web content; the bounded effect is unexpected process termination.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
