Process-memory disclosure via out-of-bounds font read
Published Sep 14, 2026 · Updated Sep 14, 2026
An out-of-bounds read in Apple operating systems before 27 allows attackers to disclose process memory by processing a malicious font. Apple has not published the affected font-processing component or the exact bounds-checking error that permits data beyond the intended buffer to be read. Processing attacker-controlled font data is required, and the reported consequence is limited to process-memory disclosure.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
