System termination via Graphics state race
Published Sep 14, 2026 · Updated Sep 14, 2026
A race condition in the Graphics component of affected Apple operating-system releases allows apps to cause unexpected system termination. The component mishandles shared state during a race; Apple has not disclosed the affected object, function, or triggering sequence. Execution of an app on an affected device is required, and successful exploitation terminates the system rather than only the app.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
