Process-memory disclosure via crafted file integer overflow

An integer overflow in affected Apple operating systems allows attackers to disclose process memory by supplying a maliciously crafted file. Apple states that processing the file triggers the overflow, but has not disclosed the component, file format, arithmetic operation, or path from the overflow to memory exposure. Exploitation requires the crafted file to reach an affected device and be processed; required privileges, user interaction, and process-boundary effects are undisclosed.
