Password hash oracle via forgeable HMAC tokens
Published Sep 1, 2026 · Updated Sep 1, 2026
Authentication bypass in WWBN AVideo through commit 9c39d8c8 allows remote attackers to obtain password hashes via a public endpoint. The encryptPass.json.php handler accepts an arbitrary password after validating an HMAC token derived from the public site URL and current time, then returns the password's encrypted hash. No account is required, and repeated queries enable offline precomputation against a separately stolen password database.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
