Administrative writes via fail-open origin comparison
Published Sep 1, 2026 · Updated Sep 2, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in WWBN AVideo through commit 9c39d8c8 allows remote attackers to perform administrative ObjectYPT writes. The get_domain() regex collapses sibling hosts to one parent and returns false for unparseable hosts, while isSameDomain() treats two false results as equal. Exploitation requires a privileged user to load attacker-controlled content from a qualifying origin, enabling live-server and related configuration changes.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
