Unauthenticated log deletion via unvalidated code path
Published Sep 1, 2026 · Updated Sep 1, 2026
Path traversal in the API plugin of WWBN AVideo 29.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to delete server-side .log files. API::get_api_login_code() appends the unvalidated code parameter to the login-code directory, reads the resolved .log file, and calls unlink() before decrypting or validating its contents. No authentication is required; each successful probe deletes a web-server-writable log and the response reveals whether the selected path existed.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
